How Sanja Pavloska uses your information
Providing services to you
Almost all the personal data I collect is used to provide services to you, my client. This includes creating and delivering my services and invoicing and dealing with general enquiries relating to them.
Direct marketing and newsletters
I may use your information to let you know about changes to my website or services or to send you offers or information I think you may be interested in.
I will not – ever, ever, unless required to by law – share your information with third parties without your permission. Because that stuff’s just not on.
If at any time you decide you don’t want to be contacted by me again, please reply to any email I send you with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line, or email email@example.com and I will remove you from my database.
Website use tracking via cookies
A ‘cookie’ is a simple text file in your web browser that is used to record some settings relevant to each website you visit.
I use Google Analytics to track things like how many people visit my site, which pages they go to and how long they stay on them. And Google Analytics makes use of these cookies. Cookies are not linked to any personally identifiable information, and I don’t use them for any other purpose.
How long I keep your personal information for
I keep information about you while you’re my client and afterwards. For information related to invoicing, I need to keep records for seven years. Your photos I keep for up to three months for the purpose of making them available to you if you wish to purchase additional photos. It is not my intention to keep personal data longer than needed and I regularly check how long I have held information since I last interacted with a client.
The photos which you authorised me to use on my website as part of my portfolio I will keep as long as the company is active. I will never use any of your photos in my portfolio without your permission.
Your rights over your personal information
You have certain rights over your personal information. Most importantly, you have a right to ask for a copy of all the personal information I hold about you (although there are some legal exceptions to this, such as information which is confidential to my business). If you would like a copy of your personal information, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where I store your personal data
To keep your personal information securely stored for necessary use by me, I use third party data processors.
I use the following systems and their privacy statements and policies can be found below.
Where I process your personal information
Because I use third party storage systems (described above), your personal information may be stored on servers outside of the United Kingdom. I will only use your personal information (name and address as needed for invoicing) in the United Kingdom.
How your data is secured
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, I have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
For the purposes of the UK data protection legislation, including Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulations(GDPR) 2016, I am in process of registering with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
As required by the Data Protection Act 1998, I follow strict security procedures and take appropriate measures to ensure that the information about you is not disclosed to a third party without your permission and to prevent unauthorised access to it. The servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure data centre.
Though I make every effort to preserve your privacy, I may need to disclose personal information when required by law to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
